Emens Hotel

Great staff, very helpful and obliging. Also, you can have water for free in unlimited amounts. The room was cleaned upon request and the towels changed whenever we felt like it. The receptionist spoke great English and always tried to help when we asked for it. The hotel is located very close to 2 metro stations( Cankaya and Basmane) from where you can get around quite easily. It's also very close to the Bazaar and the Tower clock.

What could have been better( altough it's not the owner's fault) is the view from the window( some shabby buildings) and the fact that in the area, at night, you can see homeless people or immigrants. However, we never had a problem with any of them, although we were 3 women travelling.

The Emens hotel is located about ten minutes walk away from the Ancient Agora and about 15 minutes away from the coast where you can catch a ferry ride. Parking was right outside (no charge) and the place is quiet. Close by are informal restaurants and a Carrefour Express where you can buy wine and snacks. The hotel has reasonably sized bedrooms which were modern and very clean. Ours had a shower in the bathroom, a really comfortable double bed, a desk for working, tea and coffee facilities, lots of power sockets and a flat screen TV behind an enormous mirror! Also good air conditioning and a small fridge with complimentary water and a minibar. There was limited hanging or storage space for clothes or suitcases. The breakfast was a full 'help yourself' buffet with lots of choice and variety. Most impressive were the staff who spoke passable English and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Ours was a non smoking room - but with an ashtray...and faint odour of smoke.

Хотела е с много добра локация, обслужването е перфектно. Усмихнат, любезен и грижовен персонал. На всякъде е много чисто, закуската беше разнообразна и вкусна. Закрития паркинг е голямо удобство за тесните улички. Останахме много доволни, макар и само за една нощ. Бихме се върнали отново и с радост ще препоръчаме хотела и на други хора. Благоря!

Well located walking distance to Smyrna Church and agora. Good service. Good breakfast with a spread of main entrees, bread, vegetables and fruit. Good coffee. Valet service for parking.

The staff were amazing and very supportive, from the parking to the reception, the breakfast was amazing, I definitely recommend it

The area is loaded with traffic, if you want the town center and aware of the traffic around it, if not, this could be annoying sometimes

La qualità delle stanze ed i servizi offerti

Las camas cómodas, el desayuno muy bueno. Fueron muy amables al hacer un check in antes de tiempo e invitarnos a desayunar. El coche de alquiler te lo aparcaba el personal del hotel sin coste alguno.

Las habitaciones un poco calurosas. El aire acondicionado no era fácil de poner
