Pas de chaise dans la chambre.

Beach adjacent, just a 2 minute walk and you are at the wild beach. Not many people around, so it was almost like I had my own private beach. Quiet and peaceful, and luckily there were 2 fans to keep cool. Plenty of options for food in town and a good grocery store, so I was able to cook breakfast myself.

Water accumulates in the shower and drains really slow.

Would love a better bed.

We had an excellent stay at Playa Grande Lodge. The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!

It was perfect.

It’s like living in the jungle and get a insight into the nature of costa rica! The place is great for excursions to some nationalparks and to many caribbean beaches! One restaurant is nearby, for others you have to take the car. The hosts are very friendly and we got a good breakfast every day.

It would be good if the lodge had windows and not just mosquito protection. Maybe it’s good for the jungle experience (the chicken starts to scream at 3 am, the howling monkeys at 5 am), but in this lodge you live right next to the hosts and that was little too close for our taste. Also maybe the kitchen and the bathroom need renewels and because of the short doors it was impossible to leave the insects out. Fortunately we had our own mosquito net with us - but for people who have none it would be good, if there already would be hanging one.

Treehouse accommodation leaves a lot to be desired.

The location is perfect. Very close to Cahuita and Playa grande. The host communicates very fast. I highly recommend it!

The property is very beautiful. It is within walking distance of two of the three beaches, there. I asked for advice, on where to eat, and went to one of them. The food was delicious. It was very peaceful, sitting at my table, on the patio, and eating a delicious breakfast, that was delivered to my casa, on both mornings. I also enjoyed watching the wild animals that were on the property.
