Grótta Northern Lights - Apartment & Rooms

It was very cozy. We stayed in 4 different accomodations during our trip, and this was the last one and best of all. Location was very nice, room was lovely, tv with Netflix in the room to relax after a long day.

Bed was a bit too soft, but that might be just for us that way. In general we found beds too soft in all the places we stayed, and this was not the worst. Kitchen was very small, but for us it wasn’t a problem, because during our 2 nights stay we only once actually saw another guest there. In case clients’ schedules overlap more, it might be uncomfortable.

The apartment was clean and very spacious. The Nes had two rooms which was great for us and kids. We only stayed for a night, but otherwise, it was a nice location to visit downtown.

Easy to access, good at getting the job done, kitchen has coffee and tea at all times. Breakfast was good. Quiet.

The location was fine.

The bathroom was dirty and the shower barely drained. The floor was dirty, even though we kept our shoes off. It was incredibly hot and uncomfortable temperature wise. I had contacted the property manager to see if this could be changed and they suggested opening the windows which we had already done. It was uncomfortably hot. It was hard to tell if the linens that had been left out for the futon were clean. Overall, we were not happy with our stay. I am surprised that the reviews I saw online were so positive as that was not our experience.

Location

Stayed in family room with private bath and shared kitchen for 3 adults. There are 2 other room on the same floor ( 1 ‘rm with 2 adults other rm has 3 adults). Kitchen is tiny , will barely fit 1 party a time) . My most dislike is that my son rm has a very big window with NO window cover. Consider there’s only 4 hours between sun sets and rise. Blind in my rm can’t come down all the way, it’s very old and I m so worry to break it when I pulled it down.

The dimension of the room was amazing for 4 people. Bed was confortable. There were a large table with a window with a very nice view. Car parking is in the front of the building.

Sharing kitchen is very small. And the table where to eat too. If there are more than 4 guests, is not possible to eat on the table.

Good location - quiet and nice area

The place seems a bit run down. Small communal bathroom with toilet and shower.
