Location was good, loads to see and do round about. Even better if you like Canals. Staff were great and Friendly. Pub was inviting and comfortable.

Room no. one, the bed was dreadful, akin to a ploughed field. The bedroom door closing mechanism pressure was set too high, to a point it was dangerous, you had too step back from the door or it would have bowled you over, or if you had trapped your fingers in the door they would be gone. It was like a guillotine. This is a major health and safety issue. Other bedroom doors must be the same as there were a lot of slaming doors at night. AND, the heating was on all night even though it was one of the hottest days one the year. It was such a pity as it should have been a good place to stay.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Good food and beer in the pub.

Great location Spotless Comfortable bed Had a lovely ‘chilled’ feel to it. The free bus stops just a few yards away!!

Great location, clean throughout, and very friendly staff. Everything you want from a hotel – comfortable, welcoming, and in a great spot. Would happily stay again.
