My Story Cave Hotel

They let us stay for an hour extra past checkout time.

1. We were two females traveling alone and had to carry our own bags up the giant stairs, the host didn’t even offer to help. More like she didn’t want to. 2. The shower had no pressure and was broken. Nothing was done to fix it. 3. Breakfast was trash. It wasn’t anything great and they charge extra for extra food like eggs and everything is straight from the fridge like two women were taking like 45 minutes to put together a plate of cheese, bread and olives and some eggs (which was the only thing they made hot) 3. The hotel owner took money from me to make my balloon reservation for $445 for two people. She charged my credit card to make the reservation. Our hot hair balloon ride was cancelled unfortunately due to weather conditions. She gave us the 440 euros instead in cash! She didn’t have the courtesy to ask if I would accept the money in cash or in Euros either, considering the fluctuating rate of the euro. She was $7 short of the amount and she only felt it was necessary to return the money when I had to leave for the airport in a hurry so I couldn’t ask more questions and would just take whatever she was giving me. I suspect the extra 10 bucks was her commission fee and she didn’t want to return it to me. This wasn’t tax included. I checked. It’s not the $10 that I am annoyed or irritated about, it’s the ingenuine, dishonest & unhelpful attitude. I tip a lot as I have family in the hospitality and service industry but this kind of behavior doesn't cut it. This left us quite a sour experience and we will NOT be recommending this place to friends or family.

Loved The location, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Good view from the terrace. Good breakfast.

Since our room was a cave option, we felt the room to be suffocating. A fan was offered to improvr the circulation and the toilet had an exhaust but were of no help.

Everything was ok may improve the breakfast, no juice

Small rooms, breakfast can be better, too many bees in breakfast area making it difficult to enjoy the breakfast

Our host, Haleema, was extremely welcoming. She also booked the balloon flights for us at a nominal rate.
