B45 - Main Avenue 2 Bed Apartment

Great location and spacious but there was no detergent for washing machine, no paper towels and only 2 small toilet paper rolls. The windows didn't have screens so the flies came inside and only one fan. No A/C. Bed was not very comfortable, had a sore back. Check-in wasn't until 4pm and check-out was earlier than normal at 10am. Noisy area at night. Would not recommend or stay again.

There was not enough toilet paper so we had to buy our own. Everything else was lovely.

The issues with our accommodation and Dream Algarve's 'take the money and run' attitude cast a shadow over our stay. However, the warmth and hospitality of the people we met in Lagos shone through. We had a fantastic time exploring the area with bikes from Biknic Lagos - it's truly low-cost, and the owner's smile and positive attitude are infectious! We also had a wonderful experience with Seafaris Lagos, where we met Edit, an incredibly kind and welcoming person. Even though we didn't see dolphins on our tour, she offered us another one for free. These genuine interactions with the people of Lagos helped to brighten our trip.

The apartment was a complete disaster, and nothing, absolutely nothing, was like the advertised photos! To our dismay, we arrived to find construction work on the facade, with constant noise, dust, and the risk of falling debris. While this might not be Dream Algarve's fault, they should have removed the apartment from their listings or at least clearly warned guests about the construction. It's unacceptable to pay for a vacation rental and end up living on a construction site. To make matters worse, the apartment itself was filthy and had a nauseating smell of mould and chlorine. The shower leaked, the kitchen appliances were barely functional, and the windows were covered, preventing any ventilation. As if that wasn't enough, Dream Algarve, owned by Nelson Silva, completely ignored our attempts to contact them for help. They ghosted our messages, calls, and even in-person visits to their office, probably hoping we'd just give up.

No Aircon. Very early checkout. 10.00 am. But the management company, we're very helpful. holding our cases until 6.00pm. we did appreciate that, as our flight home wasn't until 11.00 pm.

Location, quiet and spacious.

The flat smelled quite bad and we never felt it was particularly clean. The floors felt sticky. The beds were quite hard and the pillows flat.

Pleasant.
