Hotel Rimon

Is close to everything, was good for the price, I wanted to go in the pool, but no one was ever in it, and everyone walks by it to get to thier room, so you feel like you’ll be stared at by whoever is hanging outside their rooms... maids were nice

I asked the girl in the food area if I could possibly get a plastic glass so I could use in my room to brush my teeth. She offered me a glass and asked for 2 pesos. Can I say any more? Noisy place, smokers in hallways. Would not recommend the place.

We ate at the Cafe twice on a recent visit and enjoyed the quality and variety of the menu. Portions were plentiful, fish and produce were fresh, service was accommodating, prices quite reasonable. FIne choice.

I stayed here 6 nights and enjoyed it alot! Rooms are great, good location, the kitchen is very basic but functional. The people at the reception are great and helpfull and the pool is a nice +. Can be a little noisy at night time though

Im 100% with the poster below. What an uninspiring dump! It wouldnt take much to make the place a bit more comfortable and clean. Time to invest in your business a little and welcome your guests a little more. A smile goes a very long way in life

No tv or furniture other than beds. Floors not clean with other people's hair. We could not tell if linens and towels were clean, because they were old and stained. Remarkably filthy bathroom with hand prints all over dirty walls. No sliding shower door. Angry paper sign on wall in hebrew with a toilet making threatening face warning to not put TP in toilet. AC very loud and not effective. Was up all night sweating while young partiers played drinking games until well past 3. It was a terrible experience. I am extremely disappointed that anyone on TriipAdvisor gave this place any positive scores. I reread the reviews and got the message that it was ideal for those on a budget and want to be in a great location. Someone even called it a gem. The place is a filthy dump - who cares how cheap it is!

I'm a non-kosher vegetarian and loved this cafe. Went for a late night meal and had a delicious salad. Service was professional and prompt. Owner was very hospitable and welcoming. Highly recommended for any vegetarian visiting cozumel.

This restaurant is about a 3 minute walk from the Cozumel ferry. Very reasonable prices and delicious food. The mushroom ravioli was particularly good. If you keep kosher this place is a must on Cozumel, even if you don't you should stop by for some pasta too.

We had not made reservations for a place to stay prior to getting to Cozumel. We took our chances and walked around looking for a vacancy. One a recommendation from another place we walked into Hotel Rimon. They were nice and helpful. They let us pay for our first nigh with the potential for a second nice. They also gave us a nice rate. There is A/C in the room! But use it sparingly! And hot water, what more could you ask for? The rooms are spacious and clean. There is an open air pool in the courtyard. I wish we had more time to lounge around. Our room faced the street with a balcony. We had no problem with noise, with the exception of one morning. I guess the area residents wake up early! The location is great, you are a short walk from the ferry and to the main square filled with shops and restaurants. There is also a vegetarian restaurant attached to the hotel. I really have no complaints about the place.

This small hotel is the best for low budget travelers who are looking for a warm welcome and friendly faces. It is packed with beautiful young people who are there to explore the beauty of the island. The owners do their best to make the stay a pleasure. I recommend any young traveler to stay there and of course Israeli young travelers who will enjoy the Kosher food and taste of home.
