Hotel La Smorfia

It was pretty simple, flies were all over the food so when I went to get something to eat I lost my appetite seeing this. I know it's hot but still at least put some coverings on things and maybe keep the meat/cheese over ice so it's not all melted.

I didn't like how loud the place is, I could hear everything in the hallway/next rooms, there is a super bring light in the room that your can't turn off so ended up putting a towel over it to try and make it a bit darker, Ther is NO way to get ahold of anyone after the staff departs from thier hours. The after hours number no one answered, I left my key in the room and arrived back at the hotel 20 mins after the front desk was off and thanful found them at the bar in the restaurant so was able to get another key to get into the room or I would have been sleeping outside. No one else was able to help and glad they were hanging out a little longer than normal but if i'd been any later would have been screwed. Didn't feel safe at all in the room and it was loud outside with a bunch of construction too. Overall was so unhappy left in the morning and booked another place which ended up being cheaper and was way nicer, safer for a solo traveler and much much cleaner. I have already rebooked that place for the fall and next summer. In the end I ended up paing $450 euros for a horrible experience. It was also not close to the city center which is always important to me, the description was not accurate in the review.

Room was clean and a good size. The location is great - 15 minutes from the train station and 20 from the beautiful Baia Del Quercetano. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Receptionist informed about all good places around. Big car park.

No breakfast. Cleaning on very low standard. Black dots in shower, broken shower glass, shower head holder missing. Screaming at night, workers party in a hotel untill 12pm Owners ignored that. Never ever.

It is conveniently located near the sea, easily reachable.

The rooms are dated, it smelled awful inside. Bedsheets and furniture need replacement. The hotel staff were very noisy arguing at night with people smoking on the premises, it was impossible to sleep until late. They sent an apology text, but our stay was ruined already. No breakfast was provided, although it was advertised as such and we paid for it on booking.

Stuff was do unwelcoming! Our door wasn't opening, we asked for help, reception girl was annoyed to come and help us and explain that we just didn't pull the door enough! Maybe it's better to change door lock which works bad?

The position was perfect for easy access to the beach and marvellous walkway along the ⛱️ sea. We had a room with a seaview.
