Loved the location. Huge room with lovely old pieces of furniture and spotlessly clean. Very quiet, with shuttered windows for a comfortable nights sleep.

No receptionist when we arrived (or left), however we walked over to the restaurant and the waiter was extremely helpful, phoned the right person and checked us in. There was a box on the counter for keys when we left. No problem really, just confusing and thankful for my little bit of Spanish

One of our favorite stops in Europe, this hotel's service was outstanding. The rooms are large and the furnishings beautiful. We felt as tho we had stepped into another era, surrounded by the antiquities. The restaurant kindly found us a meal, although they were closed for the rest of the evening. The area is very safe and would be good for kids. Near the city of Avila, Spain it is minutes from several interesting ancient sites.

Not a thing! It was terrific!
