The Potting Shed Maidstone

The rooms were lovely - almost hobbit-like from the outside but very spacious inside. Huge bathroom with excellent shower. All very stylish but comfortable.

It would have been handy to have some towel hooks/rails to hang the towels after use. I would also recommend taking slippers as the floor is cold - polished concrete I think with some rugs.

The room was absolutely gorgeous , the bed was so cosy and there was so much space to watch tv as there was a little living area with a sofa . Shower was amazing as well . Such a lovely , quirky little room we loved it

What let it down was the kids play area is close which isn’t a problem but a group of kids were running up and down outside throwing ketchup sachets at our door and knocking and running away . They need a gate of some kind to keep the children out of the living space ,adding to that I did complain and we didn’t get a sorry or any kind of acknowledgement about it they replied and said they would have a look but no sorry We also ate in restaurant which was fine but they Chuck the food at you so fast . We ate last mouthful of starter and the main was there within a minute . It’s like they want you in and out so we didn’t enjoy that aspect of the stay . The menu is limited it felt very canteeny. They do add service charge on as well so we did spend a lot of money and they really should have addressed the complaint about the room which is disappointing. I wouldn’t eat there again that part let it down but the room is wonderful it really is .

The food was excellent ,We popped in on the way to are Avent as we new how good the breakfasts are and we wear not disappointed .We had pizza for the evening meal and that was also excellent .All the staff are wonderful we were there on probably the busiest day of the week and thay where all lovely without exception .

I work as a cleaner for a living so probably I notice things more. The bathroom mirror had fingerprints all over it and there was also noticeable dust on the coffee machine and on a little shelf beside the sofa .It's a shame as everything else was just right . As I sead I clean for a living so most people will have not spotted this .

Loved the rooms and the restaurant. Rooms felt roomy and light.

No bathroom door however which isn’t ideal.
