Abbey Hotel Bath, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Veldig sentralt hotell. Nære jernbane og sentrum. Hyggelig betjening, og god frokost. Vil gjerne benytte hotellet igjen om jeg skal besøke Bath igjen.

Grand, interesting decor (in a good way) and a comfortable mattress in the bedroom.

The bathroom was a little tired looking with dirty windows that were difficult to see out of.

Exceptional location, really central so that a visitor sees/visits the place. Excellent room, front face, very nice view and the surprise is that the room itself was an auto upgrade due to availability of which I was informed upon my arrival. This meant immediately that the hotel's performance surpassed expectations. All amenities in tact. Really nice breakfast. Very nice, helpful, and polite personnel in all posts, throughout my stay and many thanks here to Martin and Big for their spirit of assistance. A great stay overall and a hotel to be recommended by all means. A+++

There aren't many points to note here really. Perhaps, the only would be to ascertain at the hotel before a visitor's arrival that everything works smoothly, for instance, only the bath tab didn't seem to work properly there but this is just a detail. Again, an excellent stay overall.

Location is perfect. Breakfast was very good.

The room was filthy. There was hair on the bathroom floor and an old sock in the bedroom. It was superficially clean, but there was a lack of care and attention.

Excellent location — near the Abbey and the Roman Baths. If you sign up for any tours that include a van or bus ride, they’ll greet you right outside. My stay included breakfast, which I really enjoyed. It’s served at a leisurely pace, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time.

It has a funky layout, which I understand can be typical in the UK. My room was 432 but I accessed it by going to the 2nd floor and then taking a flight of stairs I’m glad my luggage wasn’t bigger or heavier since there wasn’t anyone to help.
