Everything, the room was beautiful with added patio in the back of the lodging. Host Marco was absolutely brilliant, really welcoming. Area is perfect for anyone wanting to visit catania. There wasn't a single negative about this stay

Excellent location, rooms were spacious

The rooftop was closed when we arrived, we were told there was a bee hive and it was dangerous to use it but it would be sorted later that afternoon. Still wasn’t open the next day so we had to force them to open it then we were told it would be our responsibility! There were no bees and it was a lovely large rooftop a mystery why they wouldn’t let us use it! Also we were only met at check in for about 15mins by a member of staff the rest of our 3day stay there was no one about at all very odd to us! Also breakfast is not provided on the premises, you have to go to a bar a 7min walk away where a very grumpy waiter reluctantly serves you when you present your voucher. This should be made clear in the booking or we would have gone elsewhere.

It was a fantastic location, very clean and comfortable, the room was modern and stylish. The beds were comfortable and cosy and resulted in some great sleep. There were so many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area making it hard to pick which spot to go to! The building itself felt very secure and safe. We just wish the spa was available for our stay.

The included breakfast, although lovely if you want pastries every morning, didn't suit different dietary requirements. The first night we were there, every time the air conditioning was turned on, the power went out in our room. There aren't any staff in attendance, and we resorted to turning the power back on ourselves after finding the fuse box.

Breakfast was ok at a bar near the hotel. A choice of one pastry or salted item and cofee or juice. Even if it was not a wide selection the products were very good quality

I found it a little expensive, but maybe because I booked the same day and it was a weekend. I did´nt use the spa because it was out of order. This was mentioned on the web page. There´s a area of common use but if you want to use it for have a meal for example it lacks basic things

We loved the incredible rooms, which were full of amazing architectural detail. The ceilings were incredible and the sofa in the sitting room was really comfy. The quadruple room comes with a huge bath which was really nice after busy days sight seeing. The fact that we had two private balconies on each side of our rooms meant we could always find a sunny spot. The included breakfast at a cafe a 5 minute walk away was fantastic quality and the staff there were also very kind and helpful (and spoke English which helped us a lot - I would massively recommend the eggplant arancini or the pistachio croissant). The really central location of the apartment was superb - literally next to everything. Very easy check in and check out process and staff were very helpful and kind.

Unfortunately the main reason I booked this place was for the spa facilities as it was our 25th wedding anniversary. In the booking confirmation it mentioned that the spa facilities were closed until end of March so I didn't worry as were going mid April. Still closed however which was a real disappointment. Our room Air conditioning didn’t work, which wasn't a problem particularly in April but would be as it gets hotter! WiFi was very weak
