Secluded and quiet. Beautiful with lots of trees surrounding. Very relaxing. Fantastic breakfast.

Albert and rest of staff were very attentive and friendly. The customer service was excellent. Beautiful landscaping around the property made it a pleasant stay.

The moment you walk into the premises, you feel right in the middle of a beautiful haven. Beautiful greenery everywhere, making you feel like you're so far away from the city life. The rooms are clean and well furnished. But best of all is the food and service. Albert is the warmest, friendliest, and most helpful person. He made us feel like guests of honour and is very knowledgeable and kind. Naomi's cooking skills are bomb! No words can describe the wonderful experience we had. I highly recommend anyone to stay here while in Arusha.

This lodge is perfect for before and after safari! The rooms are clean, water is hot, wifi is strong, and service is the best! Albert helped me with anything I needed is a great guy!

This was our first trip to the Continent, and I'm so glad I chose Malkia Trees Lodge. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, with a lovely song by the staff. Albert, the general manager, provided us with exceptional service and hospitality, and curated most of our excursions, including booking taxis to view the waterfalls at Mt. Meru, a trip to the Hot Springs, and a visit to the Massai tribe, making this an unforgettable trip. The free breakfast was excellent, and was prepared based on our preferred time, which was great as we took a couple of days to adjust to the time zone and wanted to sleep in at first. Dinner was also prepared with fresh ingredients procured each day, based on what we ordered. (thank you Chef Naomi!). Any housekeeping or room needs were immediately taken care of and the grounds were kept in picture perfect condition, so we truly enjoyed the lush trees and plants, which made it very relaxing. The entire staff was so warm and helpful, that I highly recommend this property if you're visiting Arusha!

The WiFi connection was not strong in our room but the lounge and restaurant were available anytime, which had good connectivity.

This is a beautiful oasis with its own little forest in the noisy, dusty Arusha. Excellent people here. However, the one downside was the limited dining options. We were asked to select our meal choices in advance during the day each day of rather than at dinner, and the dining hours were more limited than in busier hotels.

Book it! This was an excellent place to stay the night before our safari. The people who we met were incredibly kind and helpful, and they sang a lovely farewell song for us before we left! Food was fantastic!! Gorgeous property hidden in the trees. You won't regret it!

Ambience, room, in house dining options, security, super friendly staff, bathroom, wi-fi Everything really. Albert from the front desk will help you with anything and everything😊. He also helped teach me local phrases. You can tell he really loves his culture. Always a smile on his face. Naomi who cooked the food for us is fantastic. Some of the best food I have had along with choices. 😋Great way to sample local cuisine. She is super friendly and is ready to prepare dinner or an early breakfast around your travel plans for the day I would definitely Stay here again.

Nothing really. If you have a problem climbing stairs, make sure you ask for a bottom floor. We were on the top floor and you can get a little winded climbing up. But, the staff will help carry everything for you regardless.
