Luxury Residence Mareta

The location was excellent, walking distance to ferry port and all the attractions in Old Town Split. The apartment is confortable, very well appointed and nicely remodeled! It even had an elevator.

The host had sent instructions regarding the check in but when we arrived I was having a hard time figuring all the details. It was an extremely hot day and we were outside in the sun and he kept texting instructions instead of meeting us at the property like our hosts at Dubrovnik and Korcula had done. Only when I got really mad and demanded he meet us did he come. It was not a very good start to our stay. The room was very nice and Split is lovely. The place had an elevator which was nice. The safe deposit box was not working but he fixed it when he arrived. He arranged our taxi for our ride to the airport two days later which was nice of him. We probably were spoiled by the host in Korcula and being Senior citizens did not understand the multiple codes and instructions to open the 3 doors leading to our room, specially in 100 degree weather!

The location was excellent, in the centre of things but with great soundproofing so it was lovely and quiet. The accommodation itself was superb, clean, beautifully decorated and a great set up so that my friends and I were all in one large apartment but with our own rooms and a kitchen to boot. However it was helpfulness and friendliness of Josko that truly made the stay exceptional. He will ask for your whatapp number, this is a genuine request and he will use it to send the information you need to get into the property. He gave us numerous suggestions in response to our request for restaurant recommendations, tried hard to find us tickets for a sold out event and helped arrange a transfer back to the airport for us at a rate much cheaper than the taxis had quoted us. I cannot recommend the accommodation or Josko highly enough.

The location was perfect and the host was really kind and helpful. The appartment had everything we needed.

This place was amazing. A spacious 1 bed apartment right in the heart of town. Everything was new and there wasnt anything we needed that it didn't have. I would definitely recommend, it was a beautiful place.
