Delfines Collection Hotel by Mercure

Reception was poor, the environment looked creepy, and most of all the receptionist was dishonest: it was my first time in Bolivia and I was just arrived, so I had no clue about the rate exchange with the dollar. I asked to the teller and he said it was 11 Bolivian to 1 USD. Instead it was only 6.9 bo to 1 USD, so he charged almost double the nightly fare. When I discovered it later on, I asked to speak to a manager for clarification, and she lied telling me that the credit card terminal was using the public rate exchange instead of the official one, when I perfectly know that the employee had entered the rate exchange manually. Avoid this place of scammers

Visito Santa Cruz de la Sierras 5 vezes por año faz muitos anos. Nesta vez foi a minha primeira experiência no Los Delfines by Mercure. Estive 6 noites e me entregaram toalhas velhas, encardidas, rasgadas e com buracos; quando perguntei me falaram que era assim mesmo. Para cúmulo, na última noite pedi um outro cartão de acesso (chave de acesso) porque não achei o anterior, provavelmente ficou no hotel, e me cobraram 12 dólares de multa no checkout. Viajo bastante à trabalho e nunca aconteceu isso antes. Importante: os cartões de acesso são velhos, com cores desmanchando, fitas adesivas coladas, nada que justifique cobrar 12 dólares. Foi a minha primeira e última experiência no Hotel Los Delfines by Mercure, lamentei muito não ter ido ao Hotel LP Equipetrol ou Hotel Ibis. Já me hospedei nesses hotéis e nunca aconteceu isto.

Outdated shampoo dispensers that weren’t labeled; old and frayed towels; no lotion or toiletries. Front desk employee not helpful or informative.
