Sueño del Mar Beachfront Hotel

We really enjoyed being right on the beach and the outdoor showers in the room. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

We were disappointed with the room as you could hear easily people outside, the bed was full size, not queen, and not very comfortable. And there was a really strong smell after cleaning.

We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful and quiet place. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and service was excellent and the owners are very kind people. They helped us with every request. We loved the location at the beach and the peaceful environment. There are only 7 rooms, so you feel like home.

The staff was excellent, breakfast was awesome. Their location on the beach was beautiful, just wish we could swim at this beach. My wife and I loved the low profile vibe

Great location, quiet as just outside town with great private beach area. Outstanding staff. Breakfast is made on-site and was excellent. The Luna Suite was spacious with a great view of ocean.

The property was located right on the beach. It has a lot of character and the rooms were very attractive. Small, but very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was amazing. I will definitely stay when I return.

This is an absolute GEM of a place in Tamarindo. The hotel is intimate and immaculate, with lovely touches like many shelves of communal board games and books, baskets of snorkel gear/water shoes/boogie boards to borrow, and beautiful local art. The pool is maintained throughout the day, multiple times, as are the stone paths. Not an hour went by without someone checking to be sure there wasn't a stray leaf out of place .The breakfasts were OUTSTANDING every day -- and the chef accommodated my dairy allergy perfectly. Our room was beautiful. I would absolutely come back - I miss it already!
