The Sebel Melbourne Moonee Ponds

Location is great, apartments are well fitted out, secure entrance and exit, lovely sunrise views. Shout out to Jane at the front desk for being exceptional.

It’s a real shame that there were a lot of inconsistencies across the stay. Inconsistent information provided at different times, inconsistent customer experience, inconsistent housekeeping standards etc. Lots of potential for this Sebel to be awesome, but it doesn’t currently live up to the Sebel brand experience from other locations.

We traveled with my brother in law who has MS and the staff were very helpful and supportive of him and his situation.

The location, in the heart of Dme. Edna Everidge country, with dozens of restaurants and hundreds of shops and entertainment places within walking distance, is superb. The staff were attentive, understanding and empathetic. I arrived tired and doddery after a medical procedure, to be welcomed at reception by understanding, patience and genuine warmth. The whole place was well maintained and presented, and exceptionally clean.

The proximity to the railway station and buses makes for great convenience but also a little noise. It was pretty well muffled in the apartment, however, and anticipated in a bustling suburb of a great city.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Excellent position for shops and public transport.

The beds and pillows were a bit soft. A few more basic cleaning products would be useful.
