This hotel is a nice base for exploring, you can see Pyrenees foothills and it's right on the coast. Hendye is ok, not as exciting as Biarritz and San Sebastián but quieter and the harbour is nice. Hotel is well situated, it's great having the spa downstairs (compulsory swim hat so bring one or be prepared to buy) and the food was great. Service was ok but a bit variable. Perhaps very English of us, but even at request they don't provide tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which we think of as an essential. But generally bed was comfy, rooms were quiet and toiletries smelled great.

Nice hotel, clean and bright rooms, modern decor throughout. Staff are ok but could be better and more friendly. The spa access cards and wristbands is the most unnecessary system I've ever seen in a spa. The water spa area itself is ok but not amazing, needs refurbishment and updating.
