Baymont by Wyndham Crestview

Nothing. We didn’t stay long enough.

As I pulled up the police were leaving from a call. My family and I were staying here for one night as we passed through on a vacation. By the time we got there it was after 10pm, and you would’ve never known it by all the nefarious activity going on in the parking lot. From hand to hand selling, to purchasing women or men and going in the available rooms, to a group of people walking around with a hoard of dogs in the back lot. Then people hanging out walking around and looking into cars. Needless to say, we did not stay, and went to the Hampton Inn across the street.

The hotel was not as advertised.

The room is not clean and the bathroom needed restoration, bathroom very unattractive

I have never stayed in a hotel as disappointing as this one. I understand that Baymont properties are independently owned, but Wyndham should be ashamed to have its name associated with this location. The room had an overwhelming odor from the moment we walked in. It smelled stale and there was a strong smell that resembled marijuana or drug smoke. We actually went to the store and bought air freshener and sprayed the room repeatedly, but it did little to help. To make matters worse, there was loud yelling and music until around midnight, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. We expected a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay, but that is not what we received. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Wyndham should inspect this property and ensure it meets the standards travelers expect from its brand.
