Run down hotel that has seen some upgrades. Location is good. Pool and area is very small. Breakfast is lacking in options and fruit flies were annoying. Friendly staff

Transient people lingering around
We had to check in late so we didn’t really get a chance to do a full room review before going to bed cause it was dark and the rooms are very poorly lit, but once we woke up in the morning and I opened the blinds, there was mould on the ceiling and the wall was peeling And the bed skirt hat stains all over them, and it just was very humid when I brought it up to the front desk as well as hotels.com hotels.com was more understanding than the front desk was they had attempted to move us into a different room upgrade free of charge Which would’ve been fine but once you walked into the room, you were hit with a wall of humidity and again very poorly, lick one small window in the corner of the room, which wasn’t anywhere near the bed or anything. It was just a very bad experience my child and I did not feel safe walking to her car or leaving the building or even being in the building.
It was ok but personally, I’ve stayed in nicer hotels for much lower of a price. The complimentary breakfast could use more variety; wasn’t a big fan of the limited options that were offered.
Pros Staff were professional and friendly Grounds and building were kept secure and in decent condition Room and sleeping area was clean and quiet Ultra close to downtown and amenities Ample parking Suggestions Breakfast quality could be improved. Take greater care in bathroom cleaning, especially the shower and bath area. Remarks Like in any city. Be aware of your surroundings. Personal Rating Overall - I gave this hotel a B.
