Aloft by Marriott Austin Airport

I recently stayed at Aloft Austin Airport and experienced an issue during checkout that is completely out of order . My late checkout was scheduled for 4:00 p.m., and I checked out approximately 15–20 minutes late. While speaking with the Front Office Manager, Gabby, about missing breakfast and asking about an alternative option, she snatched the breakfast coupon out of my hand and ended the conversation abruptly in a dismissive tone. Speaking to me while her head was down and making gestures as if I was a staff member. After giving them another shot for an additional stay, housekeeping staff were positioned outside my room around checkout time, holding conversations within earshot, which created the impression they were waiting for me to exit at exactly 4:00 p.m. Afterward, I spoke with other frequent guests who shared similar experiences and described a pattern of poor customer service, lack of hospitality, and unprofessional behavior associated with this individual. I have since contacted the General Manager regarding this matter and am currently awaiting a response.

Clean and staff was friendly.

Not a lot of choices for places to eat that you could walk to

Location, room, good bed, shuttle service

Included breakfast was VERY minimal and Included prepackaged snack bars, dried fruit snacks, etc.

Rooms were nice and free airport shuttle was easy to book/use.

Unfortunate that breakfast wasn’t included in your hotel stay.
