Econo Lodge Vero Beach - Downtown

Just having a place to stay and the wonderful staff member that checked us in.

The grotty, dirty room, sofa, shower, and complete lack of bedding and towel changes. It is also right next to a car wash so from 8am. All the staff bar a couple were lax and the "breakfast" was lack lustre. There were also people residing there and the smell of cannabis. Definitely not worth the money at all.

No frills, bed was comfortable, the sofa needed replacing. The floor had cheap laminate, the breakfast, for me, lacked, big time. At least I could get a banana and an apple. No gym. The staff was friendly. The price was decent, for where we were and what we were there for. But, I'll definately look for something different. The place needs a really good overhaul, but I doubt that will happen.

Rooms were not cleaned well. There were crumbs behind all of the beds. Ants in the rooms. Tried three rooms all poorly cleaned. Man at the front desk personally swept and mopped a room for us. The rooms smelt terrible. The breakfast was a bag pastry and coffee. The area is sketchy. The air conditioner worked well, and the bed was comfortable.

I didn't stay to eat.

The room that I was in smelled of sweat and a funky odor. Microwave was filthy dirty. The linen was not fresh. Someone's belongings were left in the room (hygienic supplies and clothing had been left in the dresser drawers.) And finally I showed the attendant at front desk and she apologized (also showed a large cockroach that I killed. Frustrating stay!

It was dirty, the room & sheets smelled musty.

The breakfast that was included was a joke. The pool was broken. The room was not the one that I had reserved. The cost was $60 more than was promised. We will never be visiting this place again!!

The room looked average when I opened the door but then the smell stale.smoke hit me. I'm not a smoker but I can tolerate it. Lots of damage to the room but I was in a hurry to get to my event so I didn't realize it till I returned. Curtain rod hanging, clothes rod pulled out of the wall, paint peeled off the wall. The water presure was basically 25% and towels were paper thin.

walkways were very dirty,,both bedspreads were stained,,shower was dirty with mold

Our room was not ready when we got there for early check in. The 1st room had bed bugs and no protectirs over the mattress. 2nd room beds were ok but room was musty, walls yuk and bathroom yuk. WAY not what pics show nor worth the money but we had to stay due to area sold out at all hotels.NEVER will go back..
