G Boutique Retreat Hoi An

I loved everything about the place. Room was big, clean and cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was helpful and nice. Location was perfect, since it was away from all the noise of the city center, but you can rent a bike or a scooter and are there in no time. Loved the pool.

Wonderful small boutique hotel about 15 minutes by bicycle (5 min taxi) from Hoi An old town. A true oasis away from the busy tourist area yet still easy to reach for meals etc. Located in a tranquil local neighbourhood surrounded by lush rice fields where you can see water buffalo. Owner, Giang, and his team were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Giang took us on a bike tour of the local neighbourhood and arranged a pack-up lunch when we left. We stayed in the apartment room and it was stunning - bed was very comfy and we especially liked the outdoor shower on the terrace. Breakfast was excellent and served by the pool. Would 100% recommend G Boutique!

Everything was excellent - can't think of any improvements and wouldn't hesitate to book again or recommend to others.

The location is ideal if you want somewhere a little more secluded in a beautiful corner of the city. The hotel is so beautiful and homey. We were treated with so much care and I would 10/10 recommend staying here. I unfortunately was sick most of the stay and therefore would need to come back and would stay here once again!

Plunge pool was a real relief from the heat. Excellent and friendly staff (but that's Vietnam - they are all great!) Vietnamese breakfast very good. Room very nice, would have preferred view at back over river.

Shoe swapping - I know it keeps the hotel clean, but at my age, with a 3rd floor room, doesn't feel quiet safe in a borrowed flip flop, climbing a metal staircase. Dedicated a 'slider' shoe of my own for inside - safer. Location of hotel is little isolated on a peninsular. Expect to need 2 or 4 taxi's a day, all $3-$4 to get out an back,. Cycles available if that's your thing.

The young lady at the reception was exceptional! She helped us in every way she could making recommendations and making bookings for us.

A small gripe; the pillows were huge and there were no alternatives. Bed rather hard. But in all a gorgeous small hotel.

Pool area needs attention. Sun loungers broken. Smelt bad by river perhaps light incense to make nicer

Very nice staff and we really liked the atmosphere of the hotel a lot. free bikes were helpful as well. Wifi was good.

Our stay was a real pleasure. The hotel is fabulous! Really intimate, in a nice position on the river a bit away from the tourist crowds but just a short bike trip away. The breakfast on the beautiful garden/pool area was amazing, the rooms were really beautiful and especially the service was outstanding giving us great recommendations about activities, tailors and so on and were always there to answer all our questions. Best recommendation for Hoi An!
