Comfort Suites Linn County

The location, right off the freeway, and in a safe-feeling area, was just what we were looking for! The helpful and personable front desk person had several good suggestions for dinner. We used one, and were very happy with it. We had a 2 queen room. It was larger than we expected, and included a pullout sofa we hadn't expected. The extra surface space was great!! The bathroom was good sized, and we appreciated the amount of bathroom linens. Lots of bathroom counter space was VERY appreciated, after staying at several lodgings that only had pedestal sinks😒. Plenty of soap. Mini fridge with freezer was very helpful. Mattresses, bed linens, and pillows were all comfortable. The layout of the building was very thoughtful. Some hotels are long, with the office, dining, and/or pool/hot tub, on one, or opposite, ends. In our positioning, this hotel seems to have this all near the middle, so even tho our room was 2nd to last on one end, that hub was still quite near us. We were rather unexpectedly traveling, and only made the reservation a few hours before arriving. It was relieving to find this great hotel at the last minute, and have it a good experience. It was disappointing that we were at breakfast by 8:am, and they had already run out of things I was looking forward to. We survived. There were other things to eat. We left full. The curtains they have are perfect for privacy and room-darkening. The problem is, when closed for privacy (we were on ground floor) or room darkening, they completely cover the heater/fan/air conditioner unit's vent & controls. The same heavy, stiff material that makes them perfect for their job, also makes them very awkward to fuss with, to adjust them to stay out of the way, to be able to use the unit. They could stand being quite a few inches shorter. I've never had to do this in lodging before🤔

Quiet an clean

Sheets, towels and bathroom had black hairs. Staff was rude. No room service all weekend.

Was a clean place to stay just off the interstate.

Great staff

The location is great, with many large shops and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The Wi-Fi is stable despite a somewhat tricky login process. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the service staff had a wonderful attitude. A standard American breakfast is served. The laundry facility is good and clean. The lobby is very distinctive.

The shower had very low water flow. Although, that is typical for most hotel stays. The duvet/blanket felt a bit stiff, and since it was layered in three parts, the bedding tended to shift and separate easily.

Everything was great.
