Comfort Inn & Suites Deadwood

First the concierge put in the wrong credit card info so my card was kicked back. Room was reserved for a king but was given two queens, and the room had no wash clothes

Clean but needs some upgrades. Chairs in dining room were very worn. Staff was great.

We stayed five nights at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Deadwood. The hotel badly needs cleaning, repairs, and upgrades, and it was grossly understaffed. The few employees on site were completely overwhelmed (although worked hard to do what they could). The hallways were dirty. The hot tub was dirty. The sanitizer container in the elevator sat empty until our fourth day there. The padding on every single chair in the eating area was worn through. Breakfast was materially late one day due to a no-show employee. And the hotel was unable to provide housekeeping service in our room during our entire stay. That about sums it up.

It was in a beautiful location and easy to get to. Lived having a bar inside the hotel.

One of the washers wasn’t working. We were there 3 days and it still was never fixed. As a family of 4 with 2 rooms we really needed the ability to do multiple loads since we had been traveling for several days and couldn’t do this. We were able to do laundry because the only washer wasn’t working tied up from other guests.

Breakfast was basic but good. Dining area funiture was worn out and from the 80's.

This was way overpriced. Hotel is over a mile from downtown area and the advertised shuttle didn’t show up when it was supposed to a single time. We waited 20 minutes past the scheduled time and ended up walking or taking a cab. The hotel itself just looks old and sad. We did use the hot tub and pool area which was ok but also needs an update. The casino/bar area is dark and depressing. We paid $170 with taxes and it was worth about $110.

Comfortable room. Walk-in shower. Room was very nice incl fridge. Good/warm breakfast.

Ice machine only on 2nd floor. Hotel changed internet providers (?) and there as NO INTERNET! Manager showed how to get internet via web site but that was data intensive & inconvenient. Shame, because this hotel was otherwise quite good. Room across from vending machines, so some noise.

Didn’t get breakfast once and late on another day. Dirty halls and elevator
