SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Alvin

The hotel is very clean. Breakfast was good. Elizabet waited on us and she was extremely kind and helpful. She went above and beyond o help serve us breakfast (since we showed up a little late), and she was helpful anytime we needed anything. The room did smell a little must upon entry and felt damp but honestly I think it is just the damp atmosphere being near the ocean. The ac was cold and bed was comfy. I’d stay here again.

I read great reviews about this place, but, have to say I was a bit underwhelmed with the reality. For those who care, there is NO ELEVATOR to the second floor. So, for whomever is up there, you will have to carry all your bags up. The front desk woman was nice enough to help, but for someone with baggage, it's a pain. The room was a bit "tired" and neglected. Towels were thin, bedspread had holes in it, the actual blanket on the bed under the top "cover" (can't really call it a bed spread) was a thin synthetic blanket with a sheet on either side of it, and there was a big area on the wall missing paint. The bed WAS comfortable. If you ignore all that, my stay was fine, but I also didn't spend much time in the room. I was going to take pics of the bedspread and the wall, but completely forgot.

Everything was great… They just need to add an elevator

Amazingly clean !! love the staff. They are very diligent and hotel is maintained top notch. This will be my go to hotel every time.

We booked a room with a king bed and roll in shower and they would only give us a room with 2 double beds and a bathtub!
