The hotel is old and poorly remodeled Pool area is boring Staff was gret tho and friendly

The bed was nice and comfortable but when I walk into the bathroom the tub is dirty and u see spiders and roaches and crickets on the floor dead that is disgusting and when I was checking in the white lady tells me they don’t serve people who are from Abilene and if she could refund me she would but she hope she doesn’t get in trouble because she giving me a room because I’m in Abilene this is unacceptable is it because I’m black ? And she kept huffing and puffing if that was the case maybe y’all need to put in the policy this hotel is only for travelers and maybe people would know I never heard anything like that and she was mad because she had to have her boss fix it the next morning and she was gonna get in trouble like honey please I’ll never come back to this hotel ever again .

Nice location. Indoor swimming pool.

Asked for room on ground floor but was given a room on the second floor. Not a big issue. The problem was with the smell on the second floor. Not sure if someone was cooking or had cooked some food that penetrated the walls and carpet. Once inside the room the smell was gone.

We stayed and chose this place for the indoor pool, and it was unavailable.

breakfast was good, coffee was good, common area kept very clean, organized. Rooms were updated, clean, had great bathroom sink lighting and a night light! AC was good. Bed comfortable. Adequate number of nice towels (some places are chinzy).

Mattress needs to be turned. One side was more worn down than the other. But the good side was great!

Good breakfast, comfortable, roomy.
