Courtyard Parsippany

We had a brief overnight stay. Room was clean and quiet and good value. We would stay there again.

Property was smelly, had musty damp smell. Paint was chipping, aged property. One elevator was not working, phone in the room did not work. When we checked in we wanted to take shower, no bodywash, just two shampoo and conditioner, had to find housekeeping first thing after checking in. There is no microwave in the room. We were there for a wedding and a big party. There were insects and ants in the room. I brought to the attention of Kenneth(Ken) at front desk.He was quite rude. His response was we can change can change your room or engineering check it. I was going into wedding, I was not going to miss the event I was there for. Ken also said there won’t be any compensation, I clearly told him this is for safety and health of my family, I am not looking to get compensation for this. I told him I was disappointed, he said he can’t do anything. No apology nothing. Breakfast in the bistro has nothing special except you can get good coffee. Staff at the bistro especially Jackie and JC were very nice. I have stayed in lot of Courtyards and had certain expectation in mind. This place does not meet even 20%. My experience with front desk felt like he was doing a favor by letting me stay over there. I would never stay at this place.

Desperately needs updating

The person that checked me in was super nice. I think he may have been new because someone else was training him but he was very pleasant and accommodating.

Room was a tad small and the pull out sofa had no sheets and a stain on it.

Very clean place, friendly stuff.
