Econo lodge Kennett

Bed sheets were dirty. Shower barely worked. Toilet was messed up. Air conditioner would shut off every 15-30 minutes and have to be reset!! We had to leave in the middle of the night because of the air conditioner shutting off over and over !!!I would never recommend this place to anyone!!

The toilet was barely attached. Was scared to sit on it. Phone wasn’t working and they made me pay a extra $20 for a downstairs room

The room was hot, dirty wash cloth in shower hair in the shower, no water pressure, had to hold toilet handle down for about a minute to flush… no trash can, air didn’t work kept shutting off while sleeping got very hot room never cooled!!! Very old hotel, pool water was dirty dirt floating everywhere!

AC sucked in cigarette and marijuana smells from the other side of the property. Toilet hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Red mold. Poor house keeping services. Had to ask for services. Microwave and fridge in poor working condition. My husbands meds were ruined because the fridge froze them. Frint desk guy was friendly and tried to be accomodating. Very poorly remodled. Looked like teenagers did it.

I cannot believe Econo Lodge in Kennett, Missouri is allowed to operate under the Econo Lodge name. This place was a total nightmare from the moment we stepped inside. First of all, the room was a sauna. There was only one tiny air conditioning unit that wasn’t even turned on before we arrived — in the middle of summer. It ran non-stop the entire time and still couldn’t cool the room down. We had to go out and buy our own fans just to make the room barely tolerable. The mini fridge didn’t work at all, so forget keeping anything cold. WiFi wouldn’t connect to the TV, and to top it all off, the manager had to come into our room at night to fix it. Totally inappropriate and made us feel unsafe. The floor was absolutely filthy. We couldn’t take two steps without our feet turning black — and we’re talking indoors. That’s how dirty the floors were. The beds were rock-hard and completely uncomfortable, and the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in. We also picked this place specifically because it said there was a pool. Surprise — the pool was “out of order” with no explanation. Just more false advertising. Oh, and let’s talk about safety. There was a group of men standing around right outside our door all night long. Not just talking — loitering, drinking, hanging out. We didn’t feel safe going in or out of our room after dark. This place was gross, uncomfortable, and made us feel unsafe. I wouldn’t stay here again if it was the last hotel on Earth. Save yourself t
