"Nice stay!"

10.0

First time staying at a Drury. Stayed here for 2 nights on our families way back from Branson. Due to the size of our vehicles we parked across the street for $28. One of the 3 rooms had water issues which resulted in a room switch at 530am. They were quick to act on this issue. The kick back was a nice touch. Food lines were long but hotel was busy so long lines was expected. Would stay again!

"Ehh if you have to"

6.0

Definitely an older hotel, extremely loud if your room is close to the street. It was hard to sleep… Breakfast and dinner were a nightmare because of the lines, and trying to get your free drinks was the same way. You have to pay $28 for parking, which was in the basement and extremely small and difficult to navigate. All in all, I would not stay here again.

Many things - the staff was professional and nice, location was super convenient, view was excellent, building seemed clean and secure.

Parking garage seemed very tight, but fortunately we had a small car.

"Wonderful hotel. Stay here."

10.0

Location and service are everything. This is one of the closest hotels to The Gateway Arch. Very close walk. This is a beautiful hotel with amazing service. The front desk upgraded us to an Arch view, without us even asking. Spacious, quiet room, comfy bed. All Drury Inns offer evening kickback and breakfast buffet. Book the Arch ticket well ahead of time so you can go to the top….very cool experience.

"Hood-Peebles Family Reunion at Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis"

10.0

This may come across as very wordy, but a well deserved script considering the service we received. I try to steer away from the “same old cliché reviews” seen in most appraisal websites. As I have written in the past, the greatest rating that a hotel guest could critique about an Inn is that everything went well. This Drury Plaza Hotel in St. Louis (DPHSL) clearly met the “all went well” description. Without prompting, many in our large party complimented DPHSL often. Everyone in our group told me that they had a great time. So, I believe that DPHSL surpassed my “greatest rating” norm. Matt, Laverne, Crystal, Neal, Amanda, Bethany and Haley are some of the wonderful customer friendly hotel staff that we met and interacted with during our event. I especially enjoyed Matt, Laverne and Crystal’s customer services. They were more than helpful and very professional. They appeared genuinely interested in ensuring the best customer experience for our 45 plus members group. Haley told my wife how happy the hotel was with our group (big smiles) and we were happy with her as well. Here is something significant that I observed in the lobby. The “security associated” stationed in the lobby was always watchful and would get up as well as move toward the door often…if she perceived that a guest might possibly be bothered or a safety concern seemed to loom from non-hotel guest. Nothing occurred but “this was so cool.” Elevator access to the rooms required a hotel key card. In retrospect, all of the abovementioned security practices were comforting. The lobby and grounds were clean and well maintained. Breakfast and supper services were operated well too. Our hotel room was comfortable and clean. There was not much of a view looking out our window but getting outside and experiencing everything is what we were there for. So no problem. You will also need a hotel card to access the garage. So it is necessary to check into the hotel first. Hotel parking was $32 a day. This may be my only complaint but it is okay. Personally, I hate paying for parking and made this suggestion about it to another hotel chain while staying in Fayetteville. Now I’m suggesting it to Drury. “Just roll the cost for parking into the room rate and call it free parking.” Everyone hides fees now-a-days and Americans love “the idea” of getting something free. So hiding the parking cost in the room rate seems like a simple solution and makes guest feel special. Beca was our event Sales Coordinator and although I did not get the opportunity to meet her, it was evident she ensured that we had a good customer experience. Our banquet meal was catered by Carmine’s Steak House Restaurant which is housed in an adjoining building to the hotel. The owner, Allison was an evolved leader who worked alongside her staff and made sure all went well (See the Trip Advisor review of Carmine’s Steak House). All in all we had a fun and memorable experience. I’m looking forward to the next Drury Hotel visit.

"Great downtown location."

10.0

I've stayed at this hotel on several trips to St. Louis. They have never disappointed me yet. This is one of my longest stays the staff is friendly, the service is good, and free breakfast. The downtown location works for me and you are close enough to the Arch it feels like you can reach out and touch it. Stay here when you can.
