Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus Dublin

The lobby area is fantastic. This is a great place for teams. They let the kids be kids. The parents relax. Great sports place to watch the game. I wish out club booked this chain every time we were out at away tournaments.

We stayed 9/25 and I loved the motel- it is pretty, clean and modern- loved the huge rooms and the bedding was good / life the balcony type layout and the breakfast was perfect with a chef making omelets! Unfortunately the motel is used by traveling youth hockey teams and they are allowed to run freely through the halls screaming and kicking and having the time of their lives- the halls are designed so everything echoes so it’s fun to yodel across the huge open area and play hide and seek- which the parents and coaches allow- and I’m told these teams are here every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night! So my advice to you is to ask if that group is staying when you want to come and if so, you may want to stay somewhere else Now the kids did quiet down around ten o’clock, and a wedding party would be far worse- the kids have to stay somewhere and I love their spirit and energy, it’s just not going to give you peace and relaxation

We especially enjoyed the evening happy hour and the tasty breakfast.

I booked and paid for a suite with two double beds and instead we were given a suite with a king size bed because they were full.

Great stay

Staff very friendly. Once we were checked in and went to our suite, one bedside lamp wouldn’t work. Called the front desk, lady asked me to hold on until she was free. I agreed. After a few minutes. I hung up. I called again after 5 minutes. The lady said she was checking in guests and couldn’t call maintenance for us then I told her this was unacceptable. Even though she apologized, she said she’d call back when free. She didn’t call back. Also, the carpet was torn as you entered the kitchen/bathroom area. Plus, the bedroom door wouldn’t shut completely. On a positive note, the happy hour drinks and snacks were good. The morning breakfast was very good. We both had very good omelets.

Great Property. Clean quite and close to everything. Only little issue is the Staff. They were friendly for the most part but some were not very interested in providing help/service. Good breakfast and Bar with 2 free drinks.
