Holiday Inn Express - Clermont by IHG

I am not a big fan of hotel breakfasts in general. The eggs are not real eggs, but the carton junk! In the 4 days we were there, never was there any bacon. Maybe start taking into consideration people that are eating a healthier way-like include more meats and real eggs.

The bathroom only had one outlet-and it was hidden under the framing of the mirror. The remaining outlets in the room were all loose, none of our chargers, would work unless we got them plugged in just right and hoped they would stay plugged in. All was brought to the attention of someone at the desk by my husband, nothing was done-could have offered to move us to a different room.

The front desk service was excellent, the housekeeping service was excellent, and the breakfast was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and courteous and made us feel right at home. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Clermont area

A very cute downtown area near the lake had several shops open, even on Sunday morning. There was a small farmers market and we grabbed a Greta brunch at Pepe’s. The night shift hotel clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessities. We will stay here again if we return to the area

I truly love the personal care and attention we got from Front Desk staff Ali and breakfast attendant Najid. On our first stay here, we had to leave home early to avoid traffic during our nearly 3-hour drive to Clermont. Because my husband was exhausted by the long drive, I took a chance by requesting an early check-in in order to rest, because we were arriving in Clermont around 11:00-12 noon, 4 hours before usual check-in. Since I called before 9 am, Ali told me that the cleaners just came in but that he would give me a call to confirm the possibility of early check-in. I wasn't counting on it, though. But a few minutes before reaching Clermont, I got a call from Ali that our room was ready! What a pleasant surprise! That's going the extra mile. I also loved the cheerful, meticulous attention Najid placed on fixing and restocking the breakfast spread. These two staff members made such a good impression on our first stay that after a few weeks, we booked a stay in Holiday Inn Express Clermont again. This hotel is definitely our home away from home whenever we go to Clermont!
