Quality Inn White House

Clean rooms. Seemed like they were updated recently. Only issues with room was a high rising/slow draining toilet (it flushed, but the first use it seemed like it was going to overflow) and tub drain stopper didn't function without propping it up with a plastic wrapped soap bar.

I didn’t like the fact there was a pool advertised yet it wasn’t open. There was a hot breakfast advertised on their sign in front of the establishment showing bacon and eggs but the only thing hot was toast and waffles.

The staff was very helpful and moved us to a better room when we needed it. the first room smelled like weed.

Breakfast was not hot like featured. Only hot thing was waffles. And we soley picked this hotel for the outside pool and when we arrived friday night it had already been closed for the season. We stayed over labor day weekend

The blankets were comfortable and warm

The bed looked like it had poop on it and the toilet wouldn't stop leaking and there were bugs

Check in was fine. Breakfast could be much better. Bathroom needs more cleaning. Wifi stopped working in the morning and I had to ask twice to get a code for it. Customer service could be improved!

Room 224, was not renovated like the pictures. IT was all green from the early 80s. The room was in disrepair, had holes in the wall of the bathroom area. The 'non-smoking' room was clearly heavily smoked in with the smell of pot. The skunk-weed smell was horrific. I had to sleep in my car. Also the smoke detector had been torn off the wall. The staff member moved me to room 226 the following morning - which looked a bit more like the pictures with the grey and brown motif. It also had the smoke detector torn off the wall, was in disrepair and I had a roach friend that would scamper under the grout behind the sink when I would turn on the lights....nice... This hotel isn't safe. It was quite a terrible experience. I haver no clue how this hotel has a 7.4 rating. I would guess hotel owners are posting false reviews to get the rating higher. Expedia tried to reach out to the management and Quality Inn dodged their calls and refused to return request. Stay at the other hotels nearby this place is garbage, and that actually is insulting to garbage. I have the experience fully documented with images.

We booked two rooms while on the road and arrived within a couple of hours of booking. Our rooms were ready and clean and provided exactly what we needed. A good nights rest so we could get back on the road the following day.

The breakfast really lacked any options. The only fresh fruit available were apples. No eggs, egg options, bacon, sausage or sausage gravy and biscuits. It was limited to yogurt, cold cereal, muffins, waffles, and juice. Also, the ice machine needs to be professionally cleaned. It was the only thing I noticed while staying that wasn't clean.

I didn’t like the fact that I complained about hair being on the shower my first night there and the front desk employee said that housekeeping would come clean it the next morning. Housekeeping did not show up the next morning and it was still hair on the shower. I complained this morning at my check out and I stated that housekeeping never came to clean the shower and that I feel I should be compensated for that and he replied, “Housekeeping come cleans every morning, maybe they missed a spot but we don’t do compensation for things like that.” I stated that it was a lot of hair so how could they have missed a spot but he still was saying that I wouldn’t be compensated. Also the toilet leaked and had water all over the floor, I also complained about that and nothing was done. I still feel like I should be compensated because I had to deal with such a nasty bathroom during my stay.

We enjoyed our stay overall and the pool is excellent! Decent coffee ,waffles were great ! Would be better with eggs an sausage or bacon..we stayed for 5 nights an beds were comfortable..a few complaints tho..they lied told us a man was coming to clean the pool but really they were drying out their homemade shells that they eat an were surrounding the entire pool with their shells laid out ...not cool..why not just tell us the truth? So we walked out back to the Holiday inn an thankfully they let us swim in theirs...then after check out I noticed on my credit card that we were charged $48.48 for something...so I called them an they claim they didn't charge anything extra..told me I have to take it up with my credit card company when it clearly has a charge from Quality Inn..Also they come and clean your room daily which is nice BUT I have a candle missing from my Cracklebarrel shopping bag! I bought 2 of the same nice big Yankee candles and came home with 1! For those reasons I probably would not stay here again
