The two female receptionist were fantastic with us. Very welcoming and helped as much as they could. Any questions they were happy to answer.

I’ve been visiting often since 2019, so I know the hotel well and like the breakfast included. Also we had another child added to my booking for free which I really appreciated - thank you again 🤗

Parking is more and more expensive. We had broken curtains rod and toilet paper holder in our room - it didn’t matter to be honest, I told the reception staff at check out.

Good location, parking space wasn't a problem, saying that I arrived early for check in but after a couple of hours it looked quite full,Easy access to the surrounding areas, the staff were excellent, from front of house to the chamber maids, nothing seemed like it was too much of a problem , pleasant, polite and professional. Hotel was spotless, rooms were the same, every surface was clean and wiped, The breakfast was excellent, a good choice, something for everyone's taste, well prepared and presented, and plenty of it Overall a pleasant experience, well done to everyone, a recommended location for sure!!

More of a gripe than a dislike, the staggered breakfast, I prefer to just eat and leave early not sticking to a timetable, just my preference but highly understandable given the amount of covers they were doing , the staff handled it admirably....

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and upsetting. My friend and I went down for breakfast and could clearly see at least three clean, empty tables for four people in the main dining area. Despite this, Martin instructed us to sit in a separate side room that was completely empty. His explanation was that, as we were "a pair," they place pairs in the side room to save space. This reasoning made no sense, as there were other pairs seated in the main dining area and plenty of available tables. We politely asked if we could sit in the main breakfast area with everyone else, but Emily responded by shaking her head and giving us a nasty look. We were eventually seated in the main dining area, which only further demonstrated that there was sufficient space available and made the initial decision to separate us even more difficult to understand. As two Black women in a room where there were no other people of colour, this treatment made us feel deeply uncomfortable, singled out, and unwelcome. The only explanation we could draw from the situation was that we were being treated differently, which felt discriminatory. What is even more disappointing is that after we calmly and politely expressed how uncomfortable the situation had made us feel, neither Martin nor Emily acknowledged our concerns or offered any apology. I would encourage management to review the CCTV footage, as it will clearly show that we were respectful throughout this interaction and that the information in this review is entirely truthful. I would like to thank Laura, a member of staff, for taking the time to listen to us and apologise after we explained what had happened. Laura also informed us that guests are usually only seated in the side room when there is no space available in the main breakfast area, which was clearly not the case on this occasion.
