Fairfield Inn By Marriott Indianapolis Northwest

The oldest, nastiest hotel I have stayed in for many years. Run down inside, had no desire to eat the "breakfast bag" I was told about at check in. Requested handicapped accessible for my 95 yr old Mom and was given the run around about request and availability. Mom was not given the requested room. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Room was clean with plenty of space. Check in and out were quick and simple. Plenty of shopping around and close to the highway for traveling.

The staff is so nice & friendly that I really wanted to love this hotel. But it was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The walls were so thin that my husband & I both reached for our phones when the alarm went off in the next room. We couldn’t tell if housekeeping was knocking on our door or someone else’s because every knock sounded right outside. This is definitely NOT a hotel for someone traveling with little kids or who’s a light sleeper!

Check in was less than stellar. When I arrived, I walked in and the person behind the desk was working on the computer. I stood there for about 2-3 minutes before he acknowledged me. It was super awkward. He didn’t seem too eager to check me in. We get into our room and we realized there were no toiletries, no hand soap, no shampoo/conditioner etc. I grabbed a Kleenex and there was only 2 total in the box. The toilet paper was about half full as well (it was the cheap, rough kind). The room was basic, nothing special. I was disappointed in the lack of touches the room and hotel in general provided. However on a positive note, the hotel looked newly remodeled. The lobby was small but nice looking.

My daughter dropped a french fry on the carpeted floor, went to pick up and it was covered in ants. We were on the 2nd floor, the people(children) over us were jumping & running around making a lot of noise into late at night. Website listed indoor pool but it was closed which wasn't listed on the website. That was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. I ended up having to spend extra money for a indoor water park. Website also listed buffet style breakfast, but it was grab & go. Nothing hot. Not enough toilet paper in the room, not enough towels & wash cloths. No sheets for the couch bed, we couldn't get the room cool, even though we supposedly was able to set the thermostat.

Everything was great I can’t think of a single complaint

All amenities were great! We had a short stay, so we weren't able to take advantage of all of them! We were shocked on how much was included. The staff, as well as general manager were all very nice! Thanks for a great stay, we will return if in the area again.
