This accommodation is set in a quiet area only 10 min away from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal. It is 5 star accommodation at a 3 a star price. Will definitely be making this our new base when coming to and from Tasmania. Rooms are spotlessly cleaned with ample toilet paper and tissues. Equipped with a microwave, small fridge, kettle and toaster, it’s easy to make a quick breakfast before heading off. Loved the ample amount of quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner in refillable containers in the shower. 10/10 for helping to care for our environment. Well done team! Huge TV, some comfy chairs to relax in and a small dining table with two chairs to dine at. All in all a great experience.

Everything was thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay, and the staff were warm and welcoming on both of our arrivals. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Tassie trip, as the location is great and close to the ferry back to the mainland. We’d let the team know we’d be arriving late for our first check-in and expected to collect keys from the designated spot, but instead Dave came out to personally greet the late arrivals and welcome us in. Upon our check in at the end of our trip we had been greeted by Helen who was just lovely to chat with and hep give us some ideas on things to do around the area before we headed back home on via the boat.

Ideal room for a night before catching the early morning ferry. Also 10 minutes walk along the beach for dinner at Mrs Jones - fabulous restaurant in the Mersey Surf Club Building
