Locatie Charlotte aan de balie was netjes en klantgericht

Geen klimaat beheersing in het pand dus het was zo warm dat we slecht hebben geslapen en sochtends niet wisten hoe snel we moesten uitchecken. Zeer verbaasd over zo'n keten als NH dat ze geen noodvoorzieningen hebben.

Zwembad Helaas zeer beperkte openingstijden -eenvoudige- geboekte kamer kreeg upgrade vanuit de hotelorganisatie aangezien deze beschikbaar was en gemoderniseerd was….

Geen airco op 4 hoog onder plat dak Geen info over directe omgeving( gelukkig kennen wij de omgeving) maar voor - nieuwkomers-…..☹️

Location is great

Fixing issues that was in the room, like fixing the phone that was broken or cleaning the sand from floor that was there when we arrived

Ontbijt, koel water met sinaasappel of munt/komkommer, avondeten, personeel was vriendelijk

Het enige is de lange wachttijd bij inchecken. Te weinig desks open

The green landscape around

I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at your hotel during my company’s international event, where approximately 150 delegates were staying. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel had no air conditioning despite the extremely hot weather. At no point during check-in or my stay was I informed that portable fans were available upon request, nor was there any written information advising guests not to open the windows. Like many guests, I opened my window simply because the room was unbearably hot and I needed some ventilation to sleep. During the night, my room became filled with numerous insects, including mosquitoes, crawling insects, and a large cockroach-like insect that crawled onto my clothing. The room became impossible to sleep in. I immediately contacted reception, and a staff member named Messi came to inspect the room. He witnessed the condition himself and was extremely kind, respectful, and professional throughout the entire interaction. He removed the large cockroach from my clothing after it had crawled onto my belongings, and I truly appreciate the way he handled the situation. Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff was completely different. I was simply told that there were no other rooms available and that nothing could be done. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there was no manager available. I explained that I could not stay in the room and asked whether any temporary solution could be offered, such as another room or any other safe place to spend the night. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude and told that the conversation was over. A colleague from the United Kingdom found me in the lobby visibly distressed and came to support me. She respectfully spoke with the reception staff, asking to speak with a manager and requesting that they help us find a reasonable solution.

Inchecken duurde lang

De locatie, zo dicht bij de duinen en het strand, was mooi. De kamer was voor een vier sterren hotel relatief eenvoudig. Wel met een prima douche/badkamer, koffie en thee waren aanwezig, al zijn drie koffiecapsules en vier verschillende glazen, waaronder één wijnglas, voor twee mensen, opmerkelijk.

Voor het inchecken moesten we ca 25 minuten in een rij wachten voordat we aan de beurt waren. De receptioniste die ons uiteindelijk hielp toonde zich vooral functioneel, excuses voor het lange wachten kwam er niet van. Dat zorgde al met al niet voor een prettig ontvangst. Het ontbijt vond plaats in twee grote zalen, waarbij het krioelde van de mensen. Het ontbijt was oké, maar vergeleken met andere, o.a. viersterren hotels in binnen- en buitenland, was het naar ons idee geen vier sterren ontbijt.
