"Relaxing break in the country"

The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel was well decorated and relaxing. Given it was very cold outside, the hotel was at a nice temperature. We had the dinner at Fork restaurant, which was very nice and filling!

There was work being carried out on the floor above our room. We appreciate the hotel needs to make repairs etc but they started drilling and banging at 7.30am! Reception staff were very apologetic and would have a word with the workman for future guests.

Rooms look lovely…. Once you get there

£206 for a room and there wasn’t even tea and coffee making facilities… no cups or glasses to have a drink, tv wouldn’t connect to the Internet and wasn’t working for normal tv or radio either… for the price of the room I thought it was very basic… have had better equipped rooms at the travelodge… it was a very long way from the room o reception and the stairs to the 3rd floor were closed off so had to detour in the evening to get in and out, all in all, very disappointed with our stay!

Lovely building in a convenient location for golf and Ascot racecourse

I think it was a lot of money for the standard There was no gym onsite Breakfast was charged extra and was ok at best - buffet selection of average quality. I expected more for a as top priced hotel Room was large although small details let it down - the curtain had a hole in through west and treat for example
