Had a pleasant stay with no issues.

In summary: Hapless tourists book a hotel in a bad neighborhood and become victims of crime. Hotel management blames tourists. We stayed at this property on June 22, 2024. That night our bikes were stolen and our truck was damaged. These thieves weren't messing around. They had to have a special tool to cut through the three heavy-duty locks we use to secure our bikes. Welp, there went the first summer vacation my husband and I had in 30 years. Kim, who was working the front desk on the morning of June 23, was kind and sympathetic, the only bright spot on an awful experience. She phoned her assistant manager and relayed to me he said, "Well there are no security cameras, so there is nothing we can do." I don't know if cameras would have mattered, but you need to know they don't have them. It took 4 days, 3 emails, and a phone call before I heard from the manager. He emailed me the following: "It is well established that parking is at your own risk (It's not the photo below is the only sign we saw) and on the ownnness (onus?) of the guest" OK that was my experience at the Hampton Inn 5110 Southgate Drive in Billings. I am well aware no hotel is going to take responsibility for theft on their property, but I wanted other travelers to know what happened here to us.

It was great for my first time staying there. Check out time could be 12 instead of 11
