too many dogs as they barked a lot in the evening. The toilet leaked the whole time, not on the floor, internally a waste of water and every few minute the tank would have to fill up again. I notified the person at the front desk.

Location, staff and breakfast

No back up chargers for guests. Told to go to Walmart or CVS. The shower was dirty with stains to the point I could not take a shower. The mirror frame and bottom of sink were dirty. The sofa bed was outdated and due to color did not look clean. Should put more alerts for the amount of dog traffic for noise.

The ease of booking the room online, the seamless check-in when we arrived (we were late arriving due to storms in Connecticut) the lobby & room was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing

"Clinton: who knew?"

This is our go-to when we are headed to NYC. Staying in Clinton allows us to time our arrival in the Upper West Side to score free parking. We have stayed here a number of times, and really have come to love the town. There are good restaurants, shops, and interesting things to see. The Hampton Inn has what we need, is clean and convenient.

The breakfast & the pool.

Meredith at the front desk was kind of nasty - at check-in & at check-out. And we didn't get the type of room that we initially paid for and that was confirmed.
