Hampton Inn Clinton

Location was great and the soap, body wash and shampoo smelled nice.

The room was dirty, run down, ants crawling on the table, hole in shower curtain, stains on ceiling, stains/dirty shelf in bathroom, clumps of hair on floor in bathroom when we got there, dirty coffee maker, peeling wallpaper, trash under chair. Renovations going on in lobby which made a horrible smell.

good location, breakfast was adequate and plenty of clean eating space, Room was okay and comfortable. Whatever was blooming in the area scented the outdoors magically.

Heavy traffic on access roads. Check in staff boarded on rude, uninterested and a bit disheveled. Room was okay, even though the furniture seemed to jammed into the space so the walls were banged up and scarred and every lamp shade was crooked. Access door to every room on the floor tended to slam shut and all door in my room showed heavy use wear and tear.

Breakfast was fairly standard fare. There was yogurt, waffle makers, cereal, some bread for toast and a couple of small bagels. There were two pastries and the time was not even halfway through scheduled service. There were bland pepper premade omelets. Truly, the reception staff and breakfast attendant were the stars of the visit.

Facility was under significant renovation. Work was loud. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat. Temperature was hard to keep consistent.
