Comfort Inn & Suites Portland Corpus Christi

Room was clean, new and modern. Freshly remodeled. Comfortable if only in the room!!

Currently under remodeling. Lobby dusty and dirty with plastic covering the floors. Unfinished with supplies stacked along the walls. Breakfast “Grab N Go” in a paper sack not as offered on website. Will be nice when completed!!

Clean rooms

When booking we were not told about the current construction. The blinds in the room dont close and the outside lights were on all night. The microwave doesn't work. The ac cover keeps falling and only one vent works. The shower was dirty and the bathroom mirror is loose and moved when you turn it off or on. The TV on the wall is broken so there is a huge TV setting on the desk pace making it extremely hard to do my work from my room as well as the internet only having 1 bar. We asked about the internet and they said it works best downstairs but that area is under construction. Also with the construction going on bag breakfast was offered instead of the breakfast we thought we would be getting There is no exhaust in the restroom making everything damp and a whole in the ceiling over the beds where the fire water spout is.

The bedroom area was fine but the tub was dirty and stained as well as the towels had hair on them. Also the building was under reconstruction so that would be the only reason for the low score on conditions

There was no warning when booking online that the hotel was under renovation and there was construction dust everywhere in the lobby/1st floor which triggered allergies. Our room had the worst mold stench literally hard to breathe slept with covers over head. When I got into the closet for the ironing board the closet wall had mold everywhere which is sooo unhealthy and probably cause of smell. We were so tired we didn’t even complain but to make matters worse there was a cricket In the room that did not let us sleep. Please do better! Close down until ready to operate in a healthy environment.

Paid for double queen room. When I got there I was placed in a room with the whole A/C out of the window on the 3rd floor. I was placed in a one bed room with a pull out couch the size of a twin. I was told a manager would contact me and they never did. I was told they would accommodate me the next day and never did. There was 5 in my stay and two of us had to sleep on the FLOOR! I was offered a 15% off of my stay.

I enjoyed my stay comfortable bed.

The bed was comfortable and the girl working on Monday was sweet. Housekeeping did great with making my beds and keeping clean towels in the bathroom

Came into a disaster zone. Property wasn't listed as under construction, dust every where. When we came up to the door, we weren't even sure it was open. The room had a foul smell, ac made all kinds of noise, people running around all hours of the night. The breakfast bag was terrible. Im not even sure that would pass health inspection. There was a room temp sausage biscuit, a sunny d, and oatmeal cream pie and a granola bar in the bag.
