Hampton Inn Danville

The location is good and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The service was friendly and efficient. We were there with family, and the common area was a great place to hang out & chat. The breakfast was acceptable, but the healthy choices were somewhat limited. We would definitely stay here again.

I am a Hilton Honors member and I followed the Hilton Honors app to reserve a room marking all information including myself my fiance and my pet is coming down to spend the night on December 24th and after seeing the price I decided to use the points I'd accumulated to reduce my price to $88.13. After exiting the hotel, and having no conversation with the manager about their needing to be an increase in price or that my pet was not counted during the initial check-in etc, I get home to discover that I'm sure it's almost as much for my pet as what I was for the overall stay at the hotel. But yet there was no conversation with me from the manager before they just added this charge on my account Christmas Eve! On our stay there in room 206 there were no water bottles in the room upon check in, no chocolate in the room upon check-in, the room was not completely clean, and my son fell in the shower upstairs injuring himself and yet I did not make a formal claim against this hotel. I even informed the hotel manager about my son falling, and said we're here all the time so I wouldn't dare want to file a claim against your hotel because you guys have always treated us Fair and any issue that comes up we sit and had a conversation about it and it's been resolved properly. But after my son was injured, and there was no conversation about the fact that my pet had been left off the charge, they decided to charge my account anyways without a discussion prior to so that the issue could be disputed and I could point out that hey I had already added him prior to using my points for the reduction in price, so there's some error on your end. Instead now I had to go without this money during Christmas. This manager is very deceitful she will smile in your face while stabbing you in the back her name is Janice I recommend if you're going to Danville Kentucky not to stay at this hotel as long as this woman represents this hotel as an employee! I will never stay at this facility again unless not only do they refund the money, but they pay and cover all costs for my son's injury and make a reparation to us for my son being hurt in their facilities. If you want the safety of your children to be considered this is not a hotel to go to because even along the edge of the pool they do not have anti-slip strips put down that would prevent your child from slipping and falling and getting entered there as any reputable Hotel would do to prevent children from being injured at poolside knowing that children are spontaneous and impulsive and may decide to try to get out of the pool and quickly run to another area falling and injuring themselves. Not a very reputable hotel at all and as a person that's done food reviews and am in the top 10% of food reviewers on Google across this nation, please pass along word to your family and friends and refer them to other hotels in town that provide just as great a service and amenities is what this hotel does with no deception by the hotel staff

I liked how they decorated the property for Christmas. I like the horse statue out front with the Hampton Inn logo on it as well . I loved the cookies and the apple cider in the lobby. I loved the duck and the chocolate in the room .

The only thing that we had an issue with was the sheets didn't fit the bed properly. Other than that, the place was immaculate.
