Some of the food was empty by the time we went down for breakfast at 15 min til closed, which upset my partner, however, the girl at the desk filled up the cereal that he wanted.

"Great stay, breakfast was good - just need more help in breakfast area"

We stayed for the weekend. The breakfast on Saturday was good, but apparently the hotel booked up Saturday so breakfast Sunday was not so good. The hotel location was good, half hour from our destination. Great eats 3 mins away at The Barn, if you need dinner. Lots of restaurants less than 10 miles from hotel. Room was comfortable, clean, daily housekeeping I guess is a standard - they came in on Saturday with a check in from the night before - no complaints about that.

Our only complaint is with being a booked hotel for Sundays breakfast they continuously ran out of all breakfast items. There were only 2 staff working the breakfast area, one never came out of the kitchen. The one working the breakfast area had an arm in a sling so she couldn't carry a lot of the items without getting help from other staff which slowed things down more. I understand injuries but she needed help and there wasn't enough help for the volume of eaters. She just couldn't keep up with it. There was a wait for almost everything: cooked breakfast, milk, coffee refilled, OJ, yogurts, fruit, waffle mix, hard boiled eggs, they never refilled the breads / pastries in the hour & half we were at breakfast, A lot of people left without eating because there was such a long wait to get food and they had places to be.
