The breakfast was delicious, the lady who was keeping everything stocked was so friendly and efficient. The king suite was spotless and very comfortable, the bed was perfect. The front desk staff were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Iโ€™ll be staying here every time Iโ€™m in Spartanburg.

Great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. I went to breakfast on Monday when John was working. I noticed that he was not wearing gloves when he put breakfast out. He has sores on his hands which makes wearing gloves even more important. We ended up not eating breakfast at the hotel. We will definitely be back because the location is great and the staff is super friendly

"Unsatisfactory Room Change Experience as an HHonors Diamond Member"

My wife is a HHonors Diamond member, and while the front desk agent was initially polite, her attitude changed when we requested a room change. She had assigned us a room on Floor 2, which was actually at ground level and directly in front of the parking lot. When I opened the curtain, I found a car parked less than 10 feet away, with its headlights shining directly into the room. When we returned to the front desk to request a room change, she initially claimed that no rooms were available because the remaining rooms had already been assigned to arriving guests for the night. We mentioned my Diamond membership and the expectation of a room upgrade as part of the benefits. She responded that she could not change or upgrade because our rate was โ€œVERY CHEAP.โ€ This statement was incorrect, as our reservation was made using Points & Money, which applies the highest non-discounted rate. As I pointed this out, she then stated that accommodating our request would result in another guest being assigned the room we wanted to avoid. Wow! Ultimately, she did change our room but with an unsatisfactory attitude. Her handling of the situation indicates a lack of understanding regarding HHonors membership benefits. Additional training is needed to ensure a consistent and professional experience for loyal members.
