"2026 prices for 1970's accommodation."

My room was like entering the 1970's, not in a good way. This is 2026. What decent hotel that charges 2026 rates has shower curtains in the shower, and a shower over the bath what's more? The said curtain would stick to me. It was also hung on the rail in such a way that exiting the 'bath' was a task in itself. There was no heating in the room. There is no storage in the bathroom. The water pressure is pathetic. The curtains would not shut properly for those of us that like darkness while sleeping. The works that were going on started way too early in the morning for those who wanted to sleep a little later. The experience at the Point Hotel was such that I will never stay there again.

Location, helpful staff.

The pool was not open, but a courtesy bus was advertise. The hotel said there was no courtesy bus. Rooms were very dated.
