Greet Hotel Marseille Centre St Charles

Small city room, barely space between the bed and the wall. Don't expect anything nice. There was a roach in my room, gross.

The hotel was fine for one evening and the bed was clean and comfortable. We chose it as it was a short walk from the station. The decor was not to our taste and i would not stay again.

Very close to Gare St-Charles, and an easy walk to the Port, this hotel was perfect for just one night. It is a basic, bare bones place, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is stocked with only a drinking glass, a towel, and liquid soap. But they provided a hair dryer when I asked for one. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the hotel was of meager variety, but convenient and adequate. As long as this is what you are expecting, then you will be plenty satisfied staying here.

The Greet hotel was good for the purpose of a cheaper hotel option in the location we wanted. The air conditioning didn’t really work so the room was quite warm. For the most part it was clean and had everything we needed. Worth it for the price!

Hotel staff are friendly. Boutique atmosphere in the lobby. Rooms are bare bones. Air Conditioning didn’t work…in the middle of august….while France hosts the Olympics. It was about 32 Celsius (90 Fahrenheit) in the room. They gave us a swamp cooler that did nothing. Just laid there soaked the entire night. Breakfast isn’t free, and I could fit more food in my carry on than they offer to eat. Horrible choice.

Hotel was very cute looking and it is fairly clean and spacious. However, it was lacking a lot of basic necessity such as hot water (it was out of hot water by 9pm for shower), the AC was not functioning, there were no hair dryer in the room. Being so hot, we wanted to have some ice but there are no ice machine. We had to ask the bar/reception and they couldn’t even give us a bucket of ice but just a small glass. The windows are not well sound proofed so it was very loud at night. It also didn’t help that it was located at the intersection of a busy street.

Hôtel très sympathique au niveau du lobby. Les réceptionnistes de jour très aimables et accueillantes. Maintenant le principal l'hôtel, je m'attendais à mieux. Un des deux couloirs, après avoir descendu x étages, mène en fait à une issue de secours dommage...mais vous trouverez un très beau ascenseur ancien non mis en valeur. Le premier étage avait une odeur irrespirable de tabac froid (oui j'y suis passée pour retomber sur l'escalier principal du coup) La chambre: sur la forme, très bien le côté chiné j'adore le principe mais pour le fond, un effet dégradé (prise arrachée du mur, mousse expensive visible dans la salle d'eau, carrelage décollés, contour de fenêtre, grille d'aération et prise pas propres), papier toilette bas de gamme La clim : ne clairement pas se fier au thermostat, une chaleur insoutenable la journée. Mais la pépite, 0 isolation ! Les fenêtres fermées j'ai eu l'impression à chaque fois que je rentrais dans cette chambre d'être dehors et j'étais au 3e étage déjà... Finissons avec le réceptionniste de nuit qui me demande ce que je fais là en rentrant à 4h, si j'ai une chambre car les gens rentrent "pour voir dans l'hôtel", j'ai trouvé cela très grossier et pour la "Safety place" on repassera. Honnêtement je n'ai pas retrouvé la qualité du groupe Accor. C'est bien de vouloir être plus vert mais...restons cohérents. Je fais toujours mes nuitées sur le vieux port, et dorénavant j'y resterai car je pense que les avis sont clairement surévalués ici.
