Served a hot breakfast and an evening meal.

Super location, easy to find. The facility caters to people consulting medical resources at the University of Iowa and is well set up for that (not my situation, but something I'm familiar with from other times and locations). There was no desk in the room, so I juggled my computer when I was using it, but there was a rather massive and welcoming recliner. The bed was firm but very comfortable: I slept *far* better than usual. The ice machine, which I used to fill a couple of small plastic bags to keep my cooler going, is a big bin with a scoop: beats the usual push-button-chute arrangement.

The only things I can think of are--well, I would have liked a desk, and despite signs by the doors saying smokers need to stay at least 15 feet away, that wasn't being observed (possibly because the disposal areas for the spent cigarettes were located right by the doors).

The mattresses in room 145 I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy! All else was really Good !

Clean sheets, rooms, and staff was great! Breakfast was good as well. Bed was nice and didn’t have the usual “this bed sucks feeling the next day”. The showers were gear and did not have the chlorine smell afterwards.

Hotel is strategically placed in the same parking lot as a bbq restaurant and on a major road. Across the street was a race track or something. Sleeping at night wasn’t a real problem but it would have been good to know this prior to. Carpets could use upgrading. Aesthetically speaking could use an upgrade. But, service was great! Smell pot in the hallways.
