Coronado Luxury Club & Suites

Only negative was the construction in our building. Seems as though there could have been a better room choice or compensation for the inconvenience.

The rooms were recently renovated with succes, but as of march 2012, a conference centre is under construction, leaving a construction site in the middle of the resort. Nevertheless, we appreciated our time at this resort with our 6 kids. The pool is great.

The room was quite big, but the door of the restroom did not close, was not cold water in the shower, and the extremely hot water will get out from the shower by drops! It was not a restaurant for breakfast or lunch with AC, so you will be sweeting and uncomfortable eating.

Went for mid-term vacations with my family. Had and excellent time. Food was good, attention was excellent. With Expedia I just paid $10 more than the local fee, but golf rounds were included for my wife and myself, therefore it was a great deal. Kids had a blast with activities for children, beach club, pools, etc. Definitely a most do!!

Minimal Amenities

The hotel was advertised as being at beach-front but it is indeed very far from the beach. You have to take an internal bus to get the ocean, which is around 1 mile far from the hotel. The sourrounding is nice and peaceful: you are in the middle of a big golf field. The swimming pool and gym are also good. The room was clean, though furniture is a bit bizarre (apparently on reforms) The intenet needs to be paid apart and it is very expensive, which is, currently, an obsolescence.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally good and the staff were incredible.

We booked at Coronado Beach and Golf Resort, because the marketing sounds so good. No what is said to be Panama's best infrastructure turns out to be a somewhat boring neighbourhood. The biggest Mall truns out to be a typicall american small-sized open-air mall with 2 supermarkets and empty yet-to-be shops. The wonderful beach turns out to be 10 Minutes trolley drive away and about 50 sqm small. The public beach ist nicer though. All in all the resort tries to be more than it acutally is. For all who are not playing golf and want to see the real Panama and it's wonderful pacific beaches: stay away!
