Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The first room we were assigned had a very strong body odor smell. While the room itself appeared reasonably clean, the odor was overwhelming and impossible to ignore. I requested a room change, and the staff member accommodated the request without any issues. Unfortunately, the second room was not any better. It had a strong moldy, musty smell, and there was visible mold in several areas. One of the biggest problems is that the windows in this hotel do not open at all, which means there is virtually no fresh air or ventilation. Even with the air conditioner running continuously, the unpleasant odors never went away, and the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. What makes this even more concerning is that our friends were staying in a completely different room and experienced the same issue with a terrible odor. This clearly does not seem to be an isolated problem. The service experience was just as disappointing. One evening, I tried to order food to our room, but the employee hung up on me three separate times without taking my order. My husband eventually had to go down to the lobby to place the order in person. The order was accepted, but the employee told him directly, “I don’t have time to bring it to your room,” and refused to deliver it. Instead, my husband was instructed to come back and pick it up himself. When he returned 15 minutes later, the food was still not ready and he was told to wait longer. We eventually received a phone call when the order was finally ready so my husband could come pick it up. To make matters worse, the pizza we received was burnt. There were also several other issues during our stay. The coffee machine at breakfast was out of service for three of the four mornings we were there. In addition, our room had a coffee maker, but no cups were provided at all.
